Eastern Electrics Festival LDN: Miss Monique, Fideles, Joris Voorn, Seth Troxler & The Martinez Bros

If you’re a fan of electronic music and are looking for an unforgettable summer experience, the Eastern Electrics Festival should be on your radar.

Like Snowbombing but with less snow, a high-energy atmosphere, diverse lineup, and top-tier production have cemented this festival’s place as one of the UK’s most exciting EDM events.

And we got the chance to go Inside The DJ Booth again, like we did at UltraBeach, to catch the vibes firsthand. But don’t worry we’re going to bring them all to you now!

Here’s everything you need to know about Eastern Electrics.

The Vibe at Eastern Electrics Festival

The Eastern Electrics Festival has grown from an underground movement making use of abandoned spaces across London to a celebration of electronic music in all its forms welcoming 20,000 ravers to the Lee Valley Showground annually.

EE is known for its inclusive, vibrant atmosphere where music lovers come together to enjoy great tunes and immaculate vibes. Although probably not as wellness-focused as somewhere like Noisily Festival, EE still offers a super happy space for music lovers.

The festival offers a chance to dance under the sun and stars to the best beats by the biggest names in the worlds of house, techno and drum & bass.

Eastern Electrics Festival Line-Up

One of the biggest draws of this bank holiday beat bonanza is its stellar lineup, featuring some of the biggest names in electronic music alongside up-and-coming talent.

In previous years, the festival has hosted legendary DJs and producers like Carl Cox, MK, Groove Armada and Patrick Topping. Plus, while we were there, we also got the chance to hang out with some of our favourite people including The Martinez Brothers, Seth Troxler and Sven Väth

Have you watched Sven Väth at Cocoon at the Castle? Watch it straight after this vid, as he headlined at this insane gig in a 1000yr-old castle in Southern Spain.

Eastern Electrics Stages: Where the Magic Happens

The only way to host all those incredible names on one bill is to run a collection of stages.

Eastern Electrics boasts an impressive arrangement of 5 stages, each offering a unique experience and vibe. Here’s a breakdown of stages and what you can expect from each:

  1. The Main Stage
  2. The Big Top
  3. Switchyard
  4. Disco Disco
  5. Labyrinth

The Main Stage/Cutting Heads

The Main Stage is where you’ll find the biggest names. This year, the likes of Jamie Jones, Skream, Sosa and Sarah Story all rocked the decks.

The Big Top/Secret Stage

The Big Top is where some iconic moments happened. There cannot be a better term than “headline act” for Seth Troxler going B2B with Joseph Capriati! What a way to end the day!

Switchyard/Pyramid

For those looking who like their beats harder and grimier, the Switchyard exists in Container City. An almost post-apocalyptic scene creates a dance space in the middle of stacked shipping containers.

Disco Disco/La Discotheque

Lovers of beats dripping in funky vibes can find a home at La Discotheque. And what could be funkier than checking out a headline set by dance legends Groove Armada?!

Labyrinth

The Labyrinth Stage welcomes a mix of dance titans such as Korolova and Argy, as well as Ibiza regulars Bedouin alongside relative newcomers like Kasia. But the vibes were still incredible and mixes couldn’t be sharper.

Eastern Electrics Festival Food: Fuel for the Fun

No festival experience is complete without great food, and Eastern Electrics festival food does not disappoint. The festival offers a wide range of options to suit all tastes and dietary requirements, from gourmet street food to classic festival fare.

Whether you’re in the mood for a juicy burger, a fresh salad, or something more exotic, the food stalls at Eastern Electrics have got you covered.

Plus, with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options available, everyone can find something to enjoy.
