MUSIC

We were dancing day and night at the first-ever Lost Nomads festival in Morocco, the brilliant Noisily Festival, one of the best outdoor EDM dance events in the UK, and on the Spanish Costa del Sol, where the Ultra Beach brand landed with their debut festival on mainland Spain.

FASHION

When we heard that Daniel Lismore, who describes himself as a live fashion sculpture, and who is described by British Vogue as England’s most eccentric dresser, we were more than intrigued. Is this a real person and what does he actually do as a designer/activist/speaker and stylist? Watch our exclusive interview filmed at London’s world-famous Victoria & Albert Museum as part of their ‘Fashion in Motion’ series.

We also headed to Marrakesh for Claudia Peifer to take a tour of the ultimate fashion temple that is the YSL Museum in Morocco. They stock over 5000 fashion items designed by the iconic French fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent! Join us in discovering these incredible treasures.

SPORT

When Swiss Freestyle Ski Cross star Fanny Smith was awarded her Olympic Medal in Beijing, she was over the moon! Then the unthinkable happened: a single judge decided to disqualify her and the drama unfolded. In our exclusive interview, she explains what happened and how she was to be given back her well-earned medal after all.

Saint Malo in France is the starting point for one of the most exciting boat races in Europe! Taking place only every 4 years, its final destination is Guadeloupe in the Lesser Antilles. What happens out at sea, when crossing the Atlantic is insane – we filmed at the event at its start in all its glory!

ART & CULTURE

Rea Danza’s 30 year anniversary show at Málaga’s stunning Teatro Cervantes was a feast for the eyes of any Argentine Tango and modern dance lover! The group pulled out all the stops to impress the audience with a series of dance pieces fit for any world stage.

London’s Tate Modern readied itself for a once-in-a-lifetime exhibition about the French painter Paul Cezanne’s work and we attended the press presentation for you to get the low-down. More than 20 pieces were on show in the UK for the very first time ever, whilst 8 paintings were reunited and on show together for the first time since they were painted. Milestones throughout – this exhibition is an absolute must-see.

TRAVEL

Cruising the Scottish Highlands and Lowlands by plane is indeed a special experience. Taking off from the picturesque and exclusive Cameron House Hotel on Loch Lomond, we took flight to enjoy the world below from a bird’s eye view: stunning countryside and amazing landscapes impressed us no end. One for the bucket list for sure…

Traveling down South again, we were so looking forward to closing the year in London by visiting an immersive light show at one of the city’s greatest beauty spots: Kenwood House on Hampstead Heath. And it did not disappoint: we were completely taken by the sound & light installations leading the visitor around the house and its garden, which was beautifully kitted out to be enjoyed by young and old.
