The Warehouse Project, Manchester: Fleur Shore, Jaden Thompson, The Martinez Bros
Join us in the DJ booth at Manchester’s infamous Warehouse Project, as they opened up again in 2021 with a stinking programme for this season after a 2-year beauty sleep!
Back with a vengeance, we’re just desperate for a good rave by now, and so we hit the DJ booth on the concourse on the 2 October for the best party atmosphere ever! The Depot is great, the Archive is alright too, but it’s much more #edmfamily of the right size to feel the vibe of the crowd in this space, we find.
When Fleur Shore kicked off the evening, we were absolutely living it in no time at all. There’s a brilliant energy about this edm powerhouse, who produces dance tracks you can go on raving to forever.
Her infectious beat never stops, also digging out ‘Oldies but Goodies’ from the 80s & 90s. Jaden Thompson is another fresh talent nominee, already signed up to The Martinez Bros’ Cuttin’ Headz imprint. Being the youngest DJ to hold residencies at London’s legendary fabric, he already knows pretty well what ravers want.
We also caught up with Seth Troxler, who popped in to say hello – he was on from 2-4 am, by which time we had bowed out already. When Chris & Steven Jr rocked up in the DJ booth, the crowd went wild, knowing what’s coming…when The Martinez Bros hit the decks, there’s no time for taking a breather.
The Warehouse Project is back!
As an annual fixture within Manchester’s rave calendar, the Warehouse Project’s gigs are a big deal for clubbers each year.
The legendary event has 1000s of music lovers holding their breaths awaiting the huge line-up announcements. Getting bigger and bigger each year, these club nights have cemented their place into the iconic Manchester music scene.
From its beginnings way back in 2006, the much-loved clubland event has grown to become a much-loved institution. Expanding its horizons and introducing the by now iconic Parklife Festival – the WHP’s sister event which started in 2013 – the WHP moved to a new home at the Mayfield Depot.
Taking a look at the AW21 season line-up, TA-DAH.TV have picked out some of the biggest names you must be sure not to miss!
The Warehouse Project AW21 Season
September kicked off the 2021 season with a bang! The global superstar that is Nile Rodgers & Chic opened the season, with top-brass acts to follow, like Megan Thee Stallion, Tion Wayne, Princess Nokia, Norman Jay MBE, Wilkinson, Andy C and many many more! The season has only just begun, but with so much more to come, epic events literally continue until New Year’s Day.
So! Fast forward to October and more fun to be had on the dance floor awaits…
On 2nd Oct, the Warehouse Project presented the stoked crowd with Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Michael Bibi, Alisha and many more in the Depot. Over in the Concourse, we were hanging out in the DJ booth with Seth Troxler, The Martinez Bros, Jaden Thompson & Fleur Shore, and what a brilliant night it was – watch our round-up on TA-DAH.TV’s music channel now. New Years Day at the Mayfield Depot: The Riot on 1 January 2022
On New Year’s Day 2022, they’ll be making history at Manchester’s Mayfield Depot, as for the very first time, The Warehouse Project will unite with 3 other event organisers, so expect the mother of all dance events to be born. Electric Chair, Repercussion and Homoelectric will all be part of this huge gig, so get your tix nice and early!
With around 300,000 revellers having passed through the depot’s doors by the end of 2021, The Riot wants to celebrate the return of clubbing and its family of followers. An epic day will be on the agenda, with The Blessed Madonna, Krystal Klear, Jayda G, Gilles Peterson, Shanti Celeste, Moxi, Horsemeat Disco, DJ Paulette and loads more waiting in the wings to spin some proper bangers.
Rolling from day into night, the guys behind Escape to Freight Island will be back, offering brilliant nosh and bevvies from their visionary food market. This is where you’ll be able to recharge to keep going throughout the night – it’s going to be wild!
The Warehouse Project – for those who don’t know…
Taking us back just over a decade, 2006 was the year the Warehouse Project began. Started as a joint venture by Sacha Lord and Sam Kandel, who both had involvements with the Sankeys nightclub (also in Manchester). Moving from several spaces, the organisation has put down roots in various areas of the ‘Capital of the North’. From the disused Boddingtons Brewery in Strangeways to an old air raid shelter under Piccadilly Station, to its current location at the Mayfield Depot.
Since its beginnings, the club has played host to a number of internationally acclaimed DJs. Including the likes of Annie Mac, Fake Blood, Pete Tong, Armand Van Helden, Carl Cox and Richie Hawtin. As well as big musicians such as Foals, The Prodigy and Manchester’s very own, Happy Mondays there isn’t a music act out there worth his/her salt, that hasn’t played the WHP. Watch our brilliant exclusive interviews on TA-DAH.TV’s music channel, and on YouTube too, where the ‘Oldies, but Goodies’ are still showing. The nice thing about the WHP philosophy is the fact that they pull along fresh talent, giving them a platform, alongside established artists. That’s just great…
The Warehouse Project is recognised across the UK, and globally, as one of the most popular clubs, actually winning an awards for this too. In 2007, The Warehouse Project was voted by Mixmag as the best club in the UK. Later crowned the Best Club Series in 2013 by DJ mag. So check out their programme online and get your tickets now!
DJ Tito Pulpo
His show on BeachGrooves Radio plays at our Spanish office every day, keeping up the good vibe, while we’re dancing away at our desks to the hottest deep soulful house tracks during lunch time. He is London’s best music export on the Costa del Sol, having brought down to the coast his definitive feel-good music style many moons ago. Years later he is still banging out the best tunes in sunny Marbs, holding residencies and parties at the coolest venues.
We’re talking weekly slots at the famous Puente Romano Beach Resort, as well as residencies at Victor’s Beach, poolside sessions at the Paloma Blanca Hotel in San Pedro, private members club LLa-Arte and Locos Marbella. The brilliant pool party venue Mogli, where Richy Ahmed and Camelphat have also played, has been knocking at his door already, after he played at the ‘Illegal Party’ at Estepona’s bull ring, so watch this space…and what a charming guy he is to chat to as well: honest and straight forward, just like his mixes!
Find out about what got him to come ‘darn sarf’ in the first place, how he took on his stage name name and what his music means to people by watching our exclusive interview with him now

Gawd, we love a festival in the woods…what a prospect: 3 main stages, 2 roaming stages, further speaker & activity stages – you’ll be having such an awesome time in Colne Woods, near Peterborough in Nottinghamshire. You can either camp or go for the day, whatever kind of ticket you choose, rest assured you’ll be having a brilliant time.
Apart from ace DJs playing cutting edge dance music, deep house, underground house, dub, bass, disco, techno, psychedelic and everything in between, prepare yourself for woodland walks, yoga classes, mediation sessions and even cacao ceremonies. The organisers work closely with the local council to make this as safe an experience as possible, having installed over 60 extra posts to ensure everyone’s safety as best as possible. What is also amazing is that all food & drink is sourced locally, so expect fresh and seriously good food, to be washed down with local beers and other delicious bevvies.
There isn’t a nicer boutique festival around that offers as much ‘happiness’ in their programme as Noisily, so book your tix pronto and come on down…see you in the woods…
Noisily Festival – Looking forward to 2022
It has been a heart-breaking time for the music and arts community, having to come to terms with the cancellation of so many festivals and events over the last two years. All over the world, and particularly in Europe, people are feeling the disappointment of missing out on great entertainment and creating fabulous summer memories. And so too were the organisers of Noisily hoping for the next edition of their infamous music & dance festival to take place, eager to provide some more “soul food meetings in the woods”, when the UK government announced that restrictions can’t be lifted just yet! This has led for the popular Coney Woods based dance festival to be postponed yet again, this time to the 7th-10th July 2022. Nevertheless, it will allow some extra time for the organisers to get some planning underway to make Noisily Festival, 2022, the biggest and best ever. EDM lovers will have so much to look forward to next year. In anticipation, TA-DAH.TV have managed to chat to Will Hazlerigg, one of the festival‘s original founders, to talk them through what the new normal could look like on the ground, and to provide a general overview of the event, from its roots to its exciting DJ line-ups! So, before heading over to TA-DAH.TV’s music channel to check out this brilliant exclusive interview, read on for everything you need to know about the extraordinary and fun-loving event that is the Noisily Festival!
What is Noisily Festival
From their first festival back in 2012 with a modest crowd of 450 people, Noisily festival has been held amongst the trees of Coney Woods ever since. The organisers have been keen to put on an unforgettable event every year ever since.
With 3 main stages, 2 roaming stages and further speaker & activity stages, ravers can’t wait to have a simply awesome time in the Woods, escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immersing themselves into the creative and soulful atmosphere of Noisily Festival. Featuring 3 days of top DJ sets, playing amongst spectacular stage design and wicked light shows, you can also take part in woodland walks, yoga classes, meditation sessions and even cacao ceremonies – it’s an unmissable experience. On top of this, all beverages and food are locally sourced, supporting the surrounding communities. So, it’s all good – for visitors and locals alike.
The founders’ ethos is centred around open mindedness and sharing knowledge. With 5 pillars at the core of their message:
- Inclusion – The festival celebrates all and allows everyone to enjoy their party, irrespective of gender/sexuality/ethnicity.
- The Environment – Caring about the environment is a central part of Noisily, focusing on looking after the local wildlife and community.
- Wellness and Education – Offering a unique and alternative experience for learning holistic and spiritual practices.
- Community – Despite an attendance of more than 6,000 people, the owners and founders of Noisily festival, are proud to maintain a community feel. Promoting the message that all who attend are part of one big family for these 4 days.
- Creativity – The festival offers a platform for creativity to flourish, with music and the arts at the centre of the festival.
DJ sets at Noisily Festival
Noisily Festival has three main stages: Noisily Stage, Treehouse Stage, and Liquid Stage. Each year all three make sure you can get lost in dance and forget about time. Festival goers can expect a proper diverse collection of dance music with sets covering all genres such as House, Disco, Bass, Glitch, Hip Hop and Breaks. Whilst also offering one of the UK’s best outdoor psychedelic experiences from their famous Liquid Stage, lovers of EDM, house music, and deep house can dance until their feet hurt.
Despite the festival having been moved to next year, the line-up for 2021 would have been a real treat of homegrown British talent, including Eats Everything, John Digweed, Aidan Doherty, Audio Anonymous, Audley, Ben Coda, Dubspeeka, Henri Bergmann, Ipcress, John Monkman, Quivver & Tripswitch, and many others! Hopefully, many of them will make it to the next year’s edition, as they’re firm favourites with loads of ravers, so get your tix booked promptly.
Exploring mind, body, and soul at Noisily Festival
Surrounded by mother nature, Noisily festival is more than just a music festival, as it also offers an immersive wellbeing experience, allowing festival goers to connect with themselves and the event’s natural environment! This way, ravers can develop a deeper knowledge about their bodies, minds, and souls. It’s a real compilation of hedonism and escapism in a safe and inclusive space for all!
Across different areas of the festival, you will find a huge variety of classes and interactive workshops. Some of the events which take on a key feature each year include, yoga classes, cacao ceremonies, mindfulness workshops, woodland walks, and meditation practices. Not only will you leave the Leicestershire woodland full of joy and exuberance – you may even learn a thing or two about how to extend your general wellbeing, taking away the knowledge of certain rituals and practices you can implement to enhance your everyday life. There’s not a single festival around, that offers such a great overall experience quite like Noisily.
Looking forward to 2022, the festival will be celebrating 10 years since they opened their gates, hence the organisers are working super hard to make it the most fabulous summer gig ever! It is indeed a big deal, also giving them the chance to say Thank You to all the loyal fans and supporters, who make up the Noisily family, and who have helped to keep the festival alive through Crowd Funding efforts.
