‘Valentina’ by Public Service Broadcasting feat. Smoke Fairies

Valentina is the first woman who travelled into space! This Russian lady was unbelievably courageous and to see today, how simple her training was, that was to prepare her for her journey into space, you wouldn’t believe anybody would manage with that kind of limited preparation. We are massively in awe of her and her tenacity to make it work.

The track is just so beautiful… we hope, you’ll love it too!

Public Service Broadcasting at London’s Roundhouse

Public Service Broadcasting, the electrifying collective of London musicians, have been wowing fans since 2009 with their brilliant mix of music and history. Founded by the similarly unique J. Willgoose, Esq., Wrigglesworth and JF Abraham, these guys are masters at turning old archival footage and public service announcements into fantastic electronic beats.

Delivering a stunning blend of post-rock, electronic, and alternative music, it’s little wonder the group has bagged several industry awards, including the prestigious AIM Independent Music Award for Best Live Act in 2022, and not to mention they were also nominated for the Ivor Novello Award in 2023.

Their swirling and immersive albums are like epic journeys through time and space. From 2013’s “Inform – Educate – Entertain” to “The Race for Space” and 2021’s Bright Magic each album dives into a unique historical theme, whether it’s the thrilling space race or the story of the Welsh coal industry. It’s music that not only sounds great but also tells an engaging story.

Much the same as some of the DJs in our Exclusive Interviews section, including Cassy and Eats Everything, Public Service Broadcasting’s live shows are a real treat, portraying their producing talents too. With stunning synchronized visuals, their performances are immersive experiences that bring their historical themes to life in the most captivating way.

In our exclusive interview, Claudia Peifer had a blast chatting with the band about their inspirations and creative process. It’s an exciting glimpse into the minds of one of today’s most innovative and entertaining musical acts.

Rita Ora: ‘Girls’ feat. Cardi B

The eye candy backdrop continued for this massive hit of hers, featuring the unstoppable US rapper Cardi B! The crowd went hyper when she announced this track to be next, and she certainly delivered with this live rendition, and not just the girls were singing along to this chart topper. We actually saw Rita at the airport the following morning, and she was super cute in saying ‘Hi’ back!

Rita Ora: show intro & ‘Sad Songs’

She’s had a whirlwind of a year and to see her come back to the rock was fab! Rita Ora’s show intro states quite clearly that this lady of pop is not to be messed with, whilst she got the crowd going with her huge hit ’Sad Songs’! We loved the graphics of her backdrop, and were pelting out the lyrics with her – couldn’t make it? Then make haste to click that start play button now to sing along with us.

DJ Patrick Topping

Having only just last month been announced as the latest act for the new Virgin Money Unity Arena, it’s safe to say that things are going well for Newcastle born DJ Patrick Topping as industry acclaim and his popularity both continue to grow.

Having built up his dedicated fanbase with his residency at Jack Jones’ legendary Paradise parties in the iconic Ibiza venue DC-10, Patrick’s catalogue of releases and remixes already has famous names such as Booka Shade and Calvin Harris listed.

Patrick started his DJ career playing gigs in his hometown of Newcastle at the club night formally known as Motion and Digital, he’s since gone on to play at clubs and festival all over the world from Awakening in The Netherlands and Tomorrowland Festival in Belgium to the Winter Music Conference in Miami Florida! As with most DJs, Patrick has an insatiable appetite for not only growing his fanbase and DJ experience but also for diversifying. So, it’s no surprise that in early 2019 he started his own label, TRICK, releasing Watch What Your Doing. In addition to this, Patrick also continues to have close ties with independent dance label Hot Creations, which was co-founded by Jamie Jones and Lee Foss.

TA-DAH.TV caught up with him during Snowbombing at Mayrhofen, where Claudia Peifer turned up, mic in hand, to find out that he had never been to a ski resort before and how much fun it’s been for him playing at the infamous Brücknstadl – a dance barn of the finest – amongst other high altitude venues at the festival.

Already recognised as one of the key players in the UK house and techno scene, Patrick has received industry recognition in the form of numerous industry awards such as a DJ MAG “Best of British” award, three Resident Adviser DJ awards, and even landing a Mixmag cover.

As Patrick’s career continues to grow, you’ll be sure to come across one of his legendary live sets or iconic remixes at some point (and if you don’t you’ll be missing out!). Keep an eye out below to be the first to find out about his latest appearances as Patrick continues to announce new sets regularly, with appearances at some of the biggest venues and events in the world.

Claudia Peifer grabs an exclusive chat with Patrick Topping during a bustling weekend in the Alps at Snowbombing. But you don’t need climbing gear to catch him in action – here are PATRICK TOPPING’s latest tour dates.
