Here they have helped pick out some of their best moments from the year to look back on! Across music, fashion, wellness, lifestyle, sports, art, and culture – there is so much to unpack.
Music

Fashion
With fashion shows taking the digital approach, we were gifted with a live stream of Miu Miu’s SS21 collection. Famous fashion blogger and style inspiration Allison Soro explained about what life is like as an influencer, and gave her thoughts on football and sport styling entering the runways. Can sport be très chic?
A philanthropic weekend in stunning Marbella! The Global Gift Gala made its way to Marbella, where Maria Bravo, Eva Longoria, and famous friends were found opening the runway. These star-studded events held by the Global Gift Foundation in aid of women, children, and families, are always a fun way to enjoy yourself whilst supporting charities and raising lots of money for good causes! And we love seeing all the stars close-up when turning up for these hugely popular fundraisers as well! Thank you, Eva, don’t mind if we do…
Wellness
Skincare the Ayuverdic way! Founder of Samaya Ayuverda skincare explained how inner balance and peace will give you a radiance on the outside. Just what the doctor ordered for all those lockdown skin concerns! Their supplement range is very popular too, as not only women go for Samaya’s products, but fast-living men (fighting jet-lag) and teenagers (who need hormonal balance in their lives) too.
Ibiza – The White Island, typically visitors are seeking the joys of beach, party, dance, and sun. The peacefulness of this location can be undervalued. Liz Warrington gave us her take on the importance of tranquillity. finding beauty in the nature around you, and the Scaravelli-inspired yoga practice she teaches at the super exclusive yoga retreat in the stunning private location. Perfectly nestled away on the island, this is the most peaceful location to unwind and re-centre.
Mental health and well-being have certainly come to the forefront of many conversations over the past year, particularly as we have all been spending a lot more time inside and away from loved ones. Speaking with international wellbeing coach, Beran Parry, she gave her tips for self-care and emotional wellbeing. Highlighting the importance of understanding what your mood is affected by and how enjoying the small things such as, taking a bath, going for a walk, and slowing down your day can be the first steps in feeling better.
Lifestyle
As some lockdown measures started to ease during parts of 2020, a visit to the ever beautiful and welcoming Seville was on the cards. 24 hours in the Andalusian capital offers so much, from mesmerising architecture, impressive history, and a vibrant city atmosphere. Seville is one to add to your ‘after lockdown’ bucket list!
November sunshine in Tarifa. The perfect holiday location for whatever time of year. Tarifa was the ideal spot for some winter sun in 2020. Sipping cocktails at happy hour, walking across the white sandy beaches, and watching the insane skills of kite surfers – it’s enough to blow all your worries away.
Caminito del Rey – not for the faint hearted! This is such an experience for those of you looking for something different to add to your vacation! Visiting in December meant the temp was bearable and made the walk so much easier. What was once one of the world’s most dangerous walkways has been transformed to invite tourists to hike through ravines and gorges. Such a cool selfie spot too!
Sports
The Global Wingsports Association (GWA) were able to host the first ever Tarifa Wing Pro event in “Europe’s Capital of Wind” – Tarifa! To finish the year off with a grand array of skills from some of the best wing pro athletes, the event went down without a hitch. Art & Culture
Over in the German city of Frankfurt the Schirn Kunsthalle (described only as an exhibition hall rather than a museum), the works of Lee Krasner were on display for the first time in 50 years. Widely renowned for being the wife of Jackson Pollock, Lee Krasner herself was a very serious, thick-skinned, and head strong woman. Which comes across in her artwork through her use of strong lines and striking self-portraits. Discovering at this exhibition, her work is some of very few pieces of American Abstract Expressionism to be found in Europe!
Hurrah! The world-famous Venice Biennale took place in 2020 despite the world coming to a halt. The romantic city of Venice came alive once again to celebrate art, music, dance, theatre, and architecture (although the architectural part of the biennale was moved to 2021). 2020 celebrated the 125th anniversary of the foundations of this spectacular event, with the focal point being the Disquieted Muses exhibition, which highlighted the rich history of the organisation and its huge archives. Until next time in Venice, ciao for now.
One of London’s final productions before the closure of theatres and show venues. Message in a Bottle at London’s Peacock Theatre was an absolute treat! To the music of Sting along with choreography by Katie Prince, the widely energetic dance company ZooNation had the audience on their feet. A true showstopping performance and amazingly created production.

Caminito del Rey – hiking one of the world’s scariest pathways in Malaga
What’s it Like Walking the Caminito del Rey? Hiking One of the World’s Most Dangerous Pathways
Last time we heard from Jane Blonde she was paragliding in the Swiss Alps. Well, she’s out on another pulse-pumping mission – only this time it might be slightly warmer.
Are you ready to take a hair-raising walk along one of Spain’s most breathtaking hiking trails? Once we knew that a place this thrilling existed in the stunning Costa del Sol, we couldn’t keep our very own Jane Blonde away!
Welcome to the Caminito del Rey, once considered the most dangerous walkway in the world!
Thankfully, this legendary path, which clings to the cliffs of Málaga’s stunning gorge, has been fully restored and is now a safe but exhilarating experience. Expect jaw-dropping views, fascinating history and a hike that will stay with you forever.
A Brief History of the Caminito del Rey
Originally constructed in 1901 and completed in 1905, the Caminito del Rey was built as a service path for workers at the nearby hydroelectric plants. It provided a shortcut across the Gaitanes Gorge, allowing engineers to inspect and maintain the water channels.
The pathway gained its name in 1921, when King Alfonso XIII walked along it during the inauguration of the Conde del Guadalhorce Dam.
Over the years, the trail fell into disrepair, with crumbling concrete and missing sections making it infamous as one of the world’s most dangerous hikes. Sounds utterly terrifying!
For over a decade, it was officially closed—until a €9 million restoration transformed it into a secure, modern trail, reopening in 2015.
Today, the Caminito del Rey is a bucket-list experience, combining history, nature and adventure in one unforgettable journey. So, let’s take you closer to the action. Here’s what to expect from the team who scaled it.

What to Expect on the Caminito del Rey Hike
The trail is a 7.7km linear hike. That means it starts at one location and ends in another – rather than forming a loop.
Consisting of a mix of pathways, forest trails and the famous elevated boardwalks attached to the gorge’s vertical rock face. Highlights include:
- Suspended Walkways – Wooden paths built 100m above the river, offer showstopping views of the unbelievable landscape and exceptional flora and fauna. Every exciting turn delivers something new
- The Hanging Bridge – A thrilling steel suspension bridge connecting two cliffs over the majestic Guadalhorce River.
- Wildlife Spotting – Keep an eye out for soaring vultures, eagles, and other native birds. Since 1987 the Caminito del Rey environment has been a designated Special Protection Area for Birds (ZEPA)
- Breathtaking Rock Formations – Ancient Dolomite cliffs make for a dramatic and imposing setting.

While the height may test your nerves, the trail itself is well-maintained and safety measures ensure a secure experience.
Tickets and Pricing
All in all, walking Caminito del Rey is an incredible day out. Plus, it’s not going to cost you an arm and a leg, which is good because you’re going to need those!
- General Entry: €10 per person
- Guided Tours: €18
- Parking: €2
So, now we know what it is, why it’s sooo cool and how much it costs to get in, let’s tell you about the best time to go!
When is the Best Time to Walk the Caminito del Rey?
We recommend going in December to avoid the summer heat and the crowds. At 17ºC, it was a very comfortable to walk, even while carrying plenty of drink in our rucksacks.
But what’s it like at other times of the year?
- Spring (March–May) – Mild temperatures and blooming wildflowers make this a picturesque time to visit.
- Autumn (September–November) – Comfortable weather and fewer crowds.
- Winter (December–February) – Cooler but still pleasant, and much quieter than peak season.

Avoiding the Summer Heat
While summer is a popular time to visit, it can be extremely hot, with temperatures exceeding 35ºC some days – and it’s definitely not advisable suffering from heat stroke or dehydration while you’re walking a pathway 100m in the air.
However, if you must visit between June and August, aim for an early morning or late afternoon slot to escape the worst of the summer heat.
Best Time of Day to Visit
For the best experience, get out there early in the morning when temperatures are lower, and the light enhances the stunning scenery. Late afternoons are also a littler cooler, but mornings generally offer fewer crowds, allowing for a more peaceful experience.
How Long Does it Take to Complete the Caminito del Rey Walk?
The whole walk took us about three hours, including wandering up the access road to the main entrance in the northern part of the Caminito.
But, while the walk is the main event of the day, don’t let that stop you from treating the family to a beautiful day out.
A picnic in the open air is what many families enjoy on the way. We found a beauty spot for a quick pit stop, where the lay of the land was so dramatic, we felt we were sitting on the set of a Spaghetti Western or an old Winnetou film.
How to Get to the Caminito del Rey
The Caminito del Rey is located near El Chorro, about an hour’s drive from Málaga. You can reach it easily by car. You can park on the Northern Access Area which is closer to the main entrance of the Caminito.
However, we recommend parking at the Southern Access Area in El Chorro and taking the shuttle up to th entrance. The bus only costs €2.50pp and it means you can walk directly back to your car rather than waiting for a return bus after the trek.

Some hikers prefer to explore at their own pace, while others enjoy the added context from guides. Either way, we’d definitely book in advance, especially during peak season.
Other Things to Do in the Costa del Sol
The Caminito del Rey is just one of many incredible experiences in southern Spain. While in the area, consider exploring:
1. Relax on the Beaches
The Costa del Sol is famous for its stunning coastline. Top beaches include Playa de la Malagueta in Málaga, Cabopino Beach near Marbella, and Playa de Burriana in Nerja. Whether you’re after lively beach bars or secluded coves, there’s a perfect spot for everyone.
2. Visit Málaga’s Historic Centre
Discover the birthplace of Pablo Picasso, explore the Alcazaba Fortress, and enjoy tapas in Málaga’s charming old town. The city is a cultural hub, with excellent museums, historic architecture, and a vibrant culinary scene.
3. Explore Andalusia’s White Villages
Take a scenic drive to picturesque villages like Ronda, Mijas, and Setenil de las Bodegas, each offering stunning views and rich cultural heritage. These villages provide a glimpse into traditional Andalusian life with their whitewashed houses, narrow streets, and charming plazas.
4. Experience Andalusian Cuisine
Indulge in Andalusian cuisine with fresh seafood, jamón ibérico and gazpacho. Try espetos (grilled sardines) at a beachfront chiringuito or explore food markets for authentic local flavours.
For a more unique experience, take a Spanish cooking class and learn to make regional specialties like paella and salmorejo.

5. Discover the Region’s Natural Parks
Hike in El Torcal de Antequera, kayak in the Nerja caves, or visit Doñana National Park, home to the endangered Iberian lynx. The region’s diverse landscapes offer something for every nature lover.
6. Enjoy Outdoor Adventures
If you love adventure, try activities like rock climbing in El Chorro, paragliding over the mountains, or paddleboarding along the coast. The Costa del Sol is an outdoor enthusiast’s paradise.
Is the Caminito del Rey Worth It?
Absolutely! Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just looking for a unique experience, the Caminito del Rey offers an unbeatable combination of adventure, history, and natural beauty.
Plus, with the Costa del Sol’s beaches, culture and cuisine just a short drive away, it’s the perfect addition to any Andalusian getaway. We couldn’t recommend it enough.

NEC Classic Motor Show: What To Expect from 8-10 Nov’24?
Petrolheads of the world unite – at the NEC Motor Show in Birmingham! With vintage cars and modern classics galore, this show offers incredible gems, unmissable deals and loads of great contacts and networking opportunities.
If you caught our journey around the Geneva International Motorshow, you’ll know we’re cuckoo about cars too. So, Claudia Peifer made her way down to the NEC for TA-DAH.TV to see what all the fuss was about and boy was she entertained!
Here’s everything we know about this awesome automotive extravaganza, including what classic cars are on offer and what else to expect outside of hotrod spotting.
What is the NEC Classic Motor Show?
The NEC Classic Motor Show is the UK’s biggest classic car show and an absolute ‘must attend’ in every car enthusiast’s calendar.
Held every November, the numbers of this event should tell you everything you need to know about how popular it is. Bringing together 3,000+ motors, over 330 clubs, more than 350 traders and around 500 classic cars and bikes for sale too.
This is the place for car lovers and we loved seeing the fantastic restorations of classics like the AC Cobra, the Friskies, a psychedelic Messerschmitt, gorgeous Jaguar models and loads more…
Our Classic Motor Show Top Picks
In a space full to the rafters with incredible autos, it can be difficult to know where to look next. But, we must admit, we did have our favourites.
James Bond’s Aston Martin DB4
On the trail of James Bond’s motors: the DB4, with an engine in such perfect conditions, had our jaws on the floor. For a cool 3/4 of a million GB Pounds, this baby could be yours.
Although not for driving…it’ll most likely go straight into the show space of a private collector, as this is pure gold dust on wheels.

Classic Lotus’s
The Lotus display was also great to see. But, for us, the 1971 Lotus Elan plus2 simply stole the show on that stand. How beautiful is the design of this car???
Aston Martin Volante & Oscar India
Heading straight to Aston Martin next, the AM V8 Volante still looks as gorgeous as ever (David Beckham must have agreed, as he took his to Spain when he played for Real Madrid).
However, the V8 Oscar India still tops the lot in style, elegance and sheer muscle power. Driven by Timothy Dalton’s Bond in 1978’s “The Living Daylights” it’s as chic and demure as the infamous spy himself.
Superleggera Coupe
The Aston Martin Superleggera Coupe was another showstopper, which our presenter Claudia Peifer actually tried out and sat in at the Geneva International Motor Show too.
It’s a beast of a car, no doubt, and was used in the James Bond film ’No Time To Die’. A proper style icon in the Aston range, it’s already a classic and an absolute killer to drive…so they say!

Beachlife Tarifa – winter sunshine in Europe’s surfing capital
Sending you some sunny rays from Tarifa, one of Europe’s greatest hotspots for kite and wind surfing. Facing the Atlantic with its white sandy beaches, this awesome holiday destination on Spain’s Costa de la Luz in Andalusia is brilliant fun and an all-year-round place to visit. Little gems of hotels and chiringuitos (beach bars) are dotted all along the Playa Los Lances, and today, we’re at the fab boutique Hotel Arte y Vida.
After a fantastic drive on the coast road that connects the Mediterranean Sea with the Atlantic, and which took us to Tarifa through the local mountain range, we put in a pit-stop at Europe’s most southerly view point, where we could see the Rif Mountains shrouded in cloud cover across the Strait of Gibraltar. With this stunning view ingrained in our memory, we headed past futuristic looking wind farms down to the ‘other side’, where the landscape changed dramatically from where we were coming. Suddenly long, sandy beaches opened up in front of us – a view so stunning, our jaws dropped. No wonder, that this place is known as a Mecca for kite surfers, with the GKA (Global Kitesports Association) holding regular championships on these shores.
Our destination today is the famous surf hotel Arte y Vida, and we’re joining them for Happy Hour. Not much drink needed to feel happy watching the action on the water and horse-back riders on the beach, to be honest. The sun here is still warm in November, and locals take every opportunity to hang out at this cool place just outside Tarifa in direction of Vejer and Cádiz – two stunning Andalusian towns steeped in history, about an hour’s drive away. On arrival, we’re heading straight for the chiringuito by the surf centre, with its great beach vibe and total chill atmosphere. And who else do we bump into but Patrick, who is by now part of the fixtures & fittings of this place. His jewellery and handicraft are perfect to take home as a little memory of the time spent here, and the total bliss experienced on the Costa de la Luz.
St. Moritz: White Turf 2022
Culture Tripping: Venice Biennale 2025 from 10 May – 23 November
Venice is just so ALIVE during its Biennale, the world famous, all inclusive art festival, that covers not just art for art’s sake, but film, contemporary music, dance, theatre and architecture! It’s a mammoth exhibition piece, lasting for months, so definitely falls under the #mustvisit category. The exhibition venues are outstanding in this historic city, whilst during the International Film Festival, when all the movie stars, directors and half of Hollywood descend onto Venice, the place is positively sparkling. Making your way through town by boat, along countless canals, it’s the Grand Canal that steals the show, particularly also as the Gritti Palace Hotel is situated right on it, opposite the famous St. Mark’s cathedral. Packed with the aforementioned film stars during the Biennale Cinema, it is a perfect spot for celeb watching and living in utter luxury and splendour during your stay. Watch the video now to catch the vibe and soak it all in – if you’re not able to go this year, mark it in your diary for next year! (labienale.org)
Venice Biennale 2020
La Biennale di Venezia, as the locals call it, or the Venice Biennale to you and me, is a stunning biennial exhibition put on by the Biennale Foundation. The Venice Biennale and its festivals and exhibitions are unlike anything else you have seen before. Although it is mainly known as a large-scale art exhibition that is renowned internationally, it is so much more than that!
The festival really does have it all with multiple exhibitions and events including the Theatre Biennale, Cinema Biennale, Architecture Biennale, Art Biennale, Music Biennale, and Dance Biennale – all of which take place in Venice.
Attracting over half a million visitors each year, the Venice Biennale is not only internationally acclaimed but also the first Biennale ever organised making the original and oldest of the all the Biennales around the world! Dating all the way back to 1895, this exciting event has been drawing millions of people to Venice for over 125 years!
The focal point of this year’s Venice Biennale is the Disquieted Muses exhibition which draws on the organisation’s rich archives of music, theatre, art, architecture, dance and cinema to create an expertly curated experience for visitors, masterminded by the artistic directors of the various departments involved, in collaboration with other archives, both Italian and international.
Intended to celebrate not only the rich history of the Biennale but also the 125th anniversary of its foundation, The Disquieted Muses is being held in the Central Pavilion at Giardini della Biennale until 8th December this year. The themes explored in the exhibition follow key events from the past century with visitors starting in a room covering Fascism, then moving on to other world events such as the Cold War, the unrest experienced in Italy in 1968. All of which seem all the more relevant in a year where global instability has dominated both the headlines and the daily lives of millions of people in the wake of the ongoing pandemic, and several environmental disasters.
As always, the main events and exhibitions of this year’s Venice Biennale will be held at the Arsenale and the Gardini, both well-known to regulars in the art world, but no doubt off the beaten path for tourists. Playing host to the Biennale since the very beginning, the Giardini park on the eastern corner of Venice has grown to accommodate 29 national pavilions that all play a role in the festival, with each one representing a different country that owns and manages its pavilion.
Another event great attraction within the Biennale is the Film Festival. When the good, the great and the most powerful in the movie industry touch down in Venice, it’s a properly glamorous affair. Mega stars like Cate Blanchett, Tilda Swinton and Esther Expósito shine on the red carpet, directors, like Woodie Allen and Pedro Almodóvar , as well as producers and writers are there to promote their films at much awaited screenings, whilst the suits and moneymen like coming to Venice to keep the machine in motion, enjoying one of the most picturesque and scenic locations in the world.
If you can’t wait to find out more about this fabulous event, make sure to check back soon for out latest Venice Biennale video!
