The very first elrow Town London was wild! Watch it now

Elrow’s parties attract thousands of ravers all over the world, wanting to enjoy themselves to the max when out on the tiles! Wherever they set up, they bring along a huge show with entertainers and animators, 20K or so inflatables, apart from all dancers and stilt walkers. Over 25.000 people came to London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic park over the 2 days, enjoying body and face make-up stalls, food trucks, VIP areas and entertainment over several stages – it was pure madness! They came from far and wide for this huge summer spectacle and putting in a good 10hrs of dancing, we think everybody had massive fun.

DJ Jackmaster

‘I don’t do eclecticism just for eclecticism’s sake’ he states on Resident Advisor, and that sums him up: what you see is what you get, no pretence, no frills, no nothing – just pure gold dance beats, that keep you glued to the dance floor for hours. Jackmaster combines passion, honesty, a crazy energy and proper knowledge into choosing the next track. He doesn’t like following trends, but instead follows his gut, knowing a ‘banger’ when he sees one.

He is completely independent in spirit and in his choice of music, whilst the underground kid in him seemingly has never left, playing house, deep house, techno, funk, garage, ghetto house an acid house. However, we’re not surprised that one of his favourite genres is….wait for it: DISCO, and so he mashes beats to the complete delight of the ravers, who won’t know what’s hit them. Hence, they love him at Circoloco playing at DC-10 in Ibiza, The Warehouse Project in Manchester, Glasgow’s Sub Club, Glastonbury, The Lost Village Festival, Barcelona’s Sonar Festival and T in the Park, amongst a whole list of other top notch dance festivals and clubs.

He has regularly ended up in the top 10 of Resident Advisor’s prestigious ’Top 100 DJs’ list in the past, until controversy and scandal hit Jack in 2018, by OD-ing on substances whilst playing at Love Saves The Day in Bristol.

Acknowledging his behavioural errors, in 2019 he focused on recovering, wanting to ‘use his voice for good’ helping others – a promise he made good on in early 2020, when he successfully raised awareness and funds in support of the Scottish charity ‘Brothers in Arms’: a charity that allows people free access to professional psychologists through text messaging.

Idris Elba at Elrow Town London

He’s got some cheek: first sending the whole world into turmoil, tweeting ‘My name is Elba, Idris Elba’, and we’re all going crazy, sin ‘will he – won’t he’ be the next Bond? – he then lays a sick beat over the classic James Bond theme tune and we’re all off dancing in the DJ booth! It was legendary…quite in tune with the whole vibe at this ETL festival, which was out of this world brilliant. Didn’t make it? Then check the vid to join in the fun…until James Bond will come to a club near you!

Both of the boys coming from highly musical backgrounds, they actually developed their own unique sound back in 2013, at the tender age of 16! Their music has often been described as a wild and eclectic mix of house, disco, punk, throwing a bit of acid in the mix – spot on, we think. Having signed their first record deal in 2020, they’ve been working tirelessly to release new music at a feverish rate, Alfie & Billy mainly play their own music.
Their raw, high-octane energy laden sound has earned them sets at some of the top clubs and festivals in the UK, including Motion Bristol, Printworks, The Warehouse Project, Glastonbury, Bestival and The Secret Garden Party (oh, we do miss it!). Further afield, they played their debut at Ibiza’s DC-10’s Widlife opening night, so watch this space…
